She is Poli, an Atlas moth, scientific name: Attacus atlas.
(The Atlas moth is one of the largest moths in the world, with a wingspan of over 10 inches. Found across Asia, this majestic giant lives only about five days after emerging from its cocoon.).
Personality: Poli is not just Rodnys’ pet, but also his loyal companion and emotional support. She is active, playful, intelligent, positive, and deeply protective of him.
Characteristics: Poli has a cream and gray coloration with darker gray markings. She has round eyes and an extremely fluffy body, making her legs barely visible. Her large wings allow her to fly effortlessly, and she also has prominent antennae that enhance her distinctive appearance.
Fun Facts: Despite moths being naturally small, Poli is truly unique. She is incredibly large compared to a typical moth, measuring between 60 and 75 cm, comparable to the size of an owl. Poli is able to hibernate, although only for short periods of about one month. She tends to be very active in the mornings, using her energy throughout the day, and sleeps peacefully at night. Poli is also highly empathetic and can sense when someone is feeling down, often trying to comfort and cheer them up.
