I hope I’m not the only one with a constant fear of spiders—just look at them!! Running across the floor looking for a corner to hide in, they’re creepy, and believe me, they scare me a lot. I can’t even squash them; I have this feeling they’d go right through my shoe.

There are several types of spiders, some have a creepy appearance, while others are actually quite fascinating, even if I don’t like them. Some can even be kept as pets, and others… you have to be very careful with.
Number one: Black widow (Latrodectus mactans)
These ladies, despite their black and red colors and that elegant hourglass shape, are usually quite dangerous. This spider really scares me, since it’s well known for being very dangerous. It has never bitten me, but I was at risk of it happening.I once took a photo of one, close enough for it to attack me. It was a risky experience because it was nighttime, and I didn’t have any protection other than my camera.
In conclusion: be careful with these little ones. They’re beautiful and elegant, but quite dangerous. And yes, I admire them, but I’m afraid of them.
Number 2: Brown recluse spider (Loxosceles laeta)
Without a doubt, another of the most venomous spiders after the black widow. At first, when I heard the name, I found it funny. I thought that if it bit you, you’d learn how to play the violin haha. But my blood ran cold when I heard about cases involving these guys and their high lethality, wow!! I also started to feel nervous when I learned they can hide in your clothes, so now I check my bed with fear of finding this small but deadly arachnid.
Conclusion: That spider really scares me, but that violin shape on its back makes it look like it just came from playing a nighttime violin concert.
Number three: Cellar Spider Pholcus Phalangioides
This little long-legged one has been quite a big nightmare, its long legs look like monsters with just a tiny little body haha. My dad usually grabs them, but honestly, I wouldn’t pick one up.
